Hi, welcome!

I'm Neha. I currently work at the Chen Lab, where I use large language models to characterize stigmatizing language in clinical notes for pregnancy patients. Before this, I worked at Stanford Hospital with Dr. Rishi Raj and the Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD) program, analyzing EHR data to develop machine learning models to predict patient progression. I also collaborated with Dr. Curt Langlotz from the Center for Artificial Intelligence in Medicine and Imaging.

I graduated from UC Berkeley with a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology. During undergrad, I was a research apprentice at the Scott Lab, working with Dr. Philip Shiu and Professor Kristin Scott on understanding interactions between taste modalities in the fruit fly brain. My experiences also include volunteering at health clinics, which sparked my passion for equitable healthcare access.
